Kiosco Magico gives access to communication – both hotspots and (mobile) devices – in combination with workshops and courses for communities in need. Each kiosco will help to overcome the digital exclusion.

The aim is to improve knowledge and competence for media use – wherever it enables people to improve their social or professional situation, helps them to become more autonomous, internet-savvy and where it enhances creativity, cultural expression, entrepreneurial activity, connectivity and participation.

Each kiosco is custom-designed for the specific requirements and topics of the respective target group and – combined with a community-project – designed as a nucleus for social change in its environment.

For each project we choose the local partners who fit best to put it into practice.

Our founding members come from Chile, Germany, India, Norway, Sweden, Uruguay and USA/Iran. Their professional backgrounds are in culture, education and journalism as well as interaction design and project management.
